MAROTTA & CAFIERO EDITORI

“Marotta&Cafiero editori is a “terrona” publishing house from Scampia. Based in the heart of neapolitan suburbs, we publish “stupefying” literature, civil novels and redemption stories. Our staff is completely under 30. We print our books on certified recycled paper, using only non-polluting plant-based inks and glues without plasticizers. Our books are Long Life, their high readability is incredible. Many of our volumes are licensed under Creative Commons and all of them are “lace free”, that means we don't pay any criminal organization to do what we do with love. Our publishing house is devoted to Antonio Landieri, an innocent victim of Camorra killed during the Scampia-war. He was a 25 years

old disabled guy. Marotta&Cafiero is also an independent record label and a bookshop: La Scugnizzeria, first bookstore ever in Scampia. In a place used to sell drugs, we now spread books and culture. From 1959, we produce books in the shade of Vesuvius.”
